Privacy Policy

ack.art is the personal art gallery of AlphaCentauriKid (ACK). It is built and operated by a single artist with no analytics partnerships, no advertising, and no commercial third-party trackers. This policy explains the small amount of data the site does and does not collect.

What this site collects

• Aggregate, anonymous traffic data — page views, click events, referrers, and approximate session duration. Stored privately for the artist's own review of how the site is used. No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
• Public wallet address — only if you choose to use the "Connect Wallet" feature. The connection is read-only: the site requests permission to view the address and its on-chain holdings so it can display which ACK pieces you collect. The site never requests transaction signatures, never moves funds, and never asks for your seed phrase or private keys.

What this site does not collect

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable contact information.
• Precise geolocation.
• Payment or credit-card details. The site never processes payments.
• Cookies used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Wallet connect — what actually happens

The "Connect Wallet" button uses standard browser-extension wallet protocols (e.g. MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, WalletConnect). When you click it, your wallet asks you to approve a read-only connection. The site only ever receives your public address. It cannot drain your wallet, sign transactions on your behalf, or see other accounts in your wallet.

You can disconnect at any time from your wallet's interface. Once disconnected, the site no longer reads your address.

On-chain data

NFT ownership and transaction history are public by design — they live on Ethereum (and other chains where ACK pieces are minted). The site reads this public data through standard providers (Alchemy, Etherscan, OpenSea API) to display collector pages, listings, and sale history. This data was already public before the site read it.

Third-party services

The following third parties may receive limited data when you use specific features:

• Wallet providers (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.) — only when you initiate a wallet connection.
• NFT marketplaces (OpenSea, Manifold, Foundation, SuperRare, Gondi) — when you click an external listing link to view or purchase a piece. Their privacy policies apply on those sites.
• Web fonts served by Google Fonts, which logs IP addresses for caching purposes per Google's standard policy.
• Music embed — the SoundCloud player on certain pages may set its own cookies per SoundCloud's policy.

Data retention

Aggregate analytics are retained for as long as the artist finds them useful — typically months, not years — and may be deleted at any time. Wallet address data is held only in your browser session and is not persisted server-side beyond the analytics row associated with your visit.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. NFT ownership and the use of cryptocurrency wallets generally require legal adulthood in your jurisdiction.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any analytics records associated with your visits. Because the site does not store contact information, the artist may need a wallet address or session timeframe to locate your records. Send requests to the contact address below.

Changes to this policy

If the site adds new data sources or third-party services, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be noted briefly on the site.
